Tameca Jones has returned with her latest album titled, Naked to rave reviews. Released back in September, her EP contains 4 insatiable originals and one splendid cover (“Benny And The Jets”). Fans have waited in anticipation for new material from the soul-pop songstress since her days performing with the band 8 Million Stories back in 2005, and Naked delivers, “showcasing her piercing voice over heavy guitars and drums that waver between soul and blues”, says Mass Appeal.
Jones was praised by Billboard Magazine for her performance at the 2015 Austin Music Awards where she paid tribute to the late Ian McLagan, alongside legends Steven Van Zandt, Charlie Sexton, Alejandro Escovedo, and Patty Griffin. She recently joined forces with Gary Clark Jr. on the track, “Wings” from his new album, The Story of Sonny Boy Slim.
