The BBC recently reported that an all-girl teenage rock group from India called Pragaash has disbanded after receiving numerous threats for being “un-Islamic.”
The trio performed at the Battle of the Bands in Srinagar in December, and has since then experienced serious backlash, including a government-backed fatwa.
