A remake of the Spice Girls’ hit single “Wannabe” recently went viral to promote the awareness of domestic violence towards women and female empowerment. The video, created by a United Nations initiative called Global Goals, shows women dancing and singing along to the song, as they stand up for their rights and express girl power around the world.
The video starts off with young females in the streets of Mumbai, then it recognizes women in Cape Town and the Middle East, before ending in London with females jumping onto a bus asking for equal pay and work.
