Ariana and the Rose Experiences An Extraterrestrial Romance In “Cosmic Lover”

Brooklyn’s celestial popstar Ariana and the Rose has built a reputation over the past few years for transporting fans to other worlds, be it with her critically acclaimed synth-pop or her immersive, galactic “light + space” art & music parties throughout NYC.

Now she goes full UFO with the release of her new video for “Cosmic Lover”, bringing together the classic theatrics and dance of films like Singin’ In The Rain’ with a suitor from another galaxy.

“Cosmic Lover” is a cut from Ariana and the Rose’s debut album ‘Lonely Hearts Club’, that scored the artist her debut late night television performance on Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, led People Magazine to declare that she is “ready to ascend from indie act to mainstream star” and had Billboard praising the collection as “a club-ready bouquet of sinuous synths, thumping beats and hypnotic house.”

Ariana also recently announced that she will embark on a national headlining run of dates this winter (featuring an assorted slew of local drag legends, as well as singer/songwriter Kelsey Kindall in San Francisco), as well as released a remix package for “Cosmic Lover” which includes gorgeous and shimmering reinterpretations of the track by Initial Talk (Kylie Minogue, Dua Lipa, Sia) and Thomas CW.

“I’m so excited to be releasing the final installment of the ‘Lonely Hearts Club’ era!” Ariana and the Rose shared today.

“Everything from the 80s tinged Initial Talk remix to the old-Hollywood inspired galactic music video for “Cosmic Lover” is filled with joy. The amazing community we’ve been able to build through this album has meant so much to me and I cannot wait to go out with a bang on these upcoming tour dates! Just getting to dance and sing with everyone in person will be the perfect ending to this album era.”

Keep up with Ariana and the Rose
