Pennsylvania based singer-songwriter Kiley Lotz, or more commonly known under her artist name Petal, has released “Stardust,” the third single off her upcoming album, Magic Gone. The highly anticipated, full-length record is scheduled to be released on June 15 via Run for Cover Records.

“Stardust” premiered on Noisey where Lotz spoke more about the track: “Stardust is the resolution of the record. It’s about coming to terms with the end of a relationship and the things that went wrong, but knowing you wouldn’t change a thing and that you’ll always love and cherish the time you had with that person, and the growth that got you to where you both are now. That love was real and lead to both people growing. All the pain in growing lead me to finding peace with myself and accepting the ways I still have to go.”

Magic Gone has received praise from several media outlets including Interview stating that “Spending time with ‘Magic Gone’ is an emotional experience, but witnessing its creator’s journey into health and self-confidence is undeniably powerful” and Paper with “Her high vocals oscillate between delicate and piercing, always commanding attention over chugging rock guitar riffs and skittering drums.” Petal will be embarking on headlining 2018 Europe tour as well as joining Camp Cope in the US.
