NBC TODAY’s Bob Dotson recently paid a visit to Zildjian Cymbals’ factory in Norwell, Mass., to learn about the company’s nearly 400-year-old history in an interview with Zildjian sisters Craigie and Debbie Zildjian.

Craigie, Zildjian CEO, and Debbie, the company’s part owner and Vice President of Human Resources, said that the best piece of advice their father Armand Zildjian gave them was to “follow the music.”

Toward the end of the interview, a special appearance is made by 4-year-old Amelia Zildjian, the newest and 16th born generation, who will one day take over the company.
