The Tiny Desk Contest is back for 2020 — the sixth annual iteration of NPR Music’s signature music discovery series was announced today. Over the past five years, nearly 30,000 musicians from across all 50 states have submitted their videos to the Contest in the hopes of getting to play their own Tiny Desk concert. The 2020 Contest winner will play a Tiny Desk at HQ and go on tour with the Music team, supported by this year’s Contest sponsor, State Farm. This year’s panel of judges includes Bob Boilen and Bobby Carter of NPR Music; Tarik Moody of Radio Milwaukee, Raina Douris of WXPN’s World Cafe; and three Tiny Desk alums: Latin-pop songwriter Gina Chavez, powerhouse roots rocker Brittany Howard, and 2019 Contest winner Quinn Christopherson.

Unsigned musicians can submit videos of themselves playing an original song (behind a desk!) between Tuesday, February 11 at 10a ET and Monday, March 30 at midnight ET.
