Join MILCK to Celebrate Album Release at Hotel Cafe with Jenny Yang

MILCK invites you to follow her down memory road as she excavates her sometimes misguided yet whole hearted attempts at creating a place she could call home.

MILCK, born Connie K. Lim, is a voice for change in today’s music scene.

Best known for her viral anthem “Quiet,” which became a global rallying cry for women’s rights, MILCK blends elements of pop, soul, and alternative genres with a focus on poignant lyrics that tackle personal struggles, empowerment, and social justice. Her music has been celebrated by outlets like Billboard and NPR, while also being prominently featured in film and television.

MILCK has collaborated with artists such as John Legend, Natasha Bedingfield, Phillipa Soo, Ani DiFranco, Aloe Blacc, and LeAnn Rimes to create songs rooted in hope, love, and resilience.

Beyond the recording industry, MILCK is expanding her creative reach into theater and mentorship; La Jolla Playhouse has commissioned her and her frequent collaborator AG to develop the music for The Family Album, a musical inspired by MILCK’s life journey, which explores themes of healing and family, set to premiere in 2026. MILCK has also partnered up with UN Girl Up’s girl leaders, creating a study guide about sexual assault awareness, activism, storytelling, and healing. From grass roots organizations to public figures like Oprah Winfrey, MILCK’s lyrics have been cited amidst conversations of social and personal change.

Initial singles include Mother Tongue”, “I Do”, and “This Skin“; give them a spin to get ready for the show on March 6! MILCK will be joined by Jenny Yang at her album release,a Taiwan born, Los Angeles-raised, former labor organizer, standup comedian and tv writer who was named one of Variety’s Top Ten Comics to Watch.
