Writer Mike Benhaim of Canadian newspaper Metro News compiled a list of 10 influential women in music, in which he cites that it’s “not about the singer with the longest legs or shapeliest curves,” and that people looking for “someone to perpetuate some antiquated sexist perspective” may be disappointed.
