Hard rock/metal solo artist Blake Red is releasing her first single “Face It” next month which will be on her debut EP, SOS: Songs On Suicide, intending to spread mental health awareness. Blake Red as referred to the track as her “anxiety anthem” as it is written about her own struggles with mental illness.
Grammy award-winning engineer Darryl Swann (Stevie Wonder, the Black Eyed Peas) co-produced “Face It” and the rest of the tracks on SOS: Songs On Suicide. The artist states that, “I’ve healed so much through the creation of this music and I hope my songs can help others in need.”
“Face It” will be available to stream everywhere on August 24, but until then you can watch the music video teaser above and check out Blake Red’s website.
