The Women-led Platform Will Host a Livestream Fundraiser on Instagram and All-Girl Jam Performance at the Echo

Combined, both shows will feature over 65 female and non-binary musicians.

Gritty In Pink will be celebrating Pride Month with two momentous events, including a very special appearance from the legendary queer icon Melissa Etheridge! The female-powered community will be taking over The Echo on Thursday, June 9 at 7 PM with an All GRL Jam: Pride Edition. This colorful showcase will feature Gritty In Pink’s biggest lineup yet, with 65+ women and non-binary musicians. The All GRL Jam will be sponsored by Play Out Apparel, Pabst Blue Ribbon, Jagermeister, Guitar Girl Magazine, and Drew Martin.

Leading up to the Pride showcase, Gritty In Pink will host a pre-show Instagram livestream on Tuesday, June 7 at 5 PM PST / 8 PM EST benefiting charity partner The Etheridge Foundation, featuring Melissa Etheridge herself.

Founded by Melissa Etheridge, the nonprofit organization focuses on providing support for new scientific research into the causes and effects of opioid addiction. Etheridge has recently been announced as Gritty In Pink’s Strategic Advisor for the launch of their new marketplace INPINK, which provides a pipeline of female talent to industry professionals looking to hire a diverse community of female creators.

Following the pre-show livestream, the June 9 showcase will feature co-headlining performances from rising queer Swedish pop star Manda Malina, modern songstress Sterling Victorian, and multifaceted DJ Lotus Banks. The night will be co-hosted by Gritty ringleader Shiragirl and Shawba McLaughlin. Attendees can expect an amazing lineup of female and non-binary musicians covering queer artists and anthems. The All GRL Jam will include singer/drummer Marlhy, singer and model Chel, the multi-talented vocalist/percussionist Chastity Ashley (Duran Duran), singer/bassist Alicia Vigil (Vigil of War/Dragonforce), hard rock/metal mainstay VK Lynne, the rhythm & uke-pop artist Taylor Morse, punk artist Xtine Reckless , Channel Q morning show host Mikalah Gordon, and many more.
