Larkin

Megan Lovell, one half of sister-lead band Larkin Poe, was interviewed by Acoustic Nation‘s Laura B. Whitmore to chat about her mad skills on lap steel and what it’s like to be on tour with her sister.

The duo combines rock, blues, Americana and folk, and is made up by siblings Rebecca Lovell on mandolin, guitar and lead vocals and Megan Lovell joining in on lap steel.

Megan said she picked up lap steel because she wasn’t making any headway on guitar or mandolin after taking lessons, and mentioned that she’d be lying if she said she and her sister didn’t fight while touring, but that no one has her back like her own sister.
