Kobra Paige, frontwoman and founder of Canadian-based heavy metal band Kobra and the Lotus, was interviewed by Revolver magazine to discuss her inspirations, her challenges as a woman in metal, and more.
“People will think you’re just a pretty face put up there,” she told Revolver. “They think there is no connect between the fact that you have to be there dedicated to the band. They didn’t just pluck out a Barbie and put her onstage.”
Kobra’s inspirations include Judas Priest and Led Zeppelin, among others.
