After a mind-blowing performance earlier this year during the Country Music Association (CMA) awards, Halestorm frontwoman Lzzy Hale hit the Saint Charles Studio in Nashville and caught up with Revolver magazine for a quick interview to chat about the band’s third album, which is in the works.

The singer and guitarist mentioned the band’s new album includes more piano, taking her down memory lane to early moments of her musical career where piano was her first and main instrument.

“It’s amazing. It’s kind of hard to describe,” she said. “We’re doing this one song where I’m singing and playing piano at the same time. I’m getting flashbacks to when I’m 15 years old [laughs] and my fingers would revert back to some of these old songs I wrote.”

Halestorm has a slew of tour dates for the rest of 2014 and early into 2015. Visit their website here for more information.
