Republic Records multi-platinum recording artist Hailee Steinfeld quickly cemented herself as a force to be reckoned within pop music by releasing a series of certified hits. In addition to her breakout double-platinum debut single “Love Myself,” her growing discography encompasses the triple-platinum hit “Starving,” and platinum-certified singles “Most Girls” and “Let Me Go.” To date, Steinfeld has amassed a total of nearly 8 billion streams globally and joined artists like Katy Perry, Charlie Puth, and Meghan Trainor on tour.
After teasing new music earlier this week on social media, Academy Award ® nominated actress and multi-platinum recording artist Hailee Steinfeld returns with “I Love You’s” (Republic Records), the lead single from her forthcoming two part project. With its lush textures and fluttery beats, Steinfeld invokes hope, optimism, and self-love as she sings “no more I love you’s until I’m ok,” inspired by the Annie Lennox classic.
“After going through a breakup, I decided I needed time to focus on myself and heal without the distractions of another relationship,” Hailee shares. “There’s something really empowering about deciding what’s best for you and putting yourself first. That’s what this record is about.”
“I Love You’s” is the second single Hailee has released this year and will be featured on Part 1 of her new project out May 1 – project title and additional details to be revealed soon. In addition to “I Love You’s,” Part 1 of Hailee’s new project will feature five tracks including her ballad “Wrong Direction”.
