All-female show will benefit Charity Bomb

Gritty In Pink is spreading the season’s greetings with a special holiday edition of Gritty Rocks Live on Tuesday, December 14th at 6pm PST/9pm EST via Gritty In Pink’s Instagram (@grittyinpinklife). The livestream is sponsored by Cool Cat Wine, Guitar Girl Magazine, La Par, Drew Martin and benefits charity partner Charity Bomb. Charity Bomb is a preventative mental health solutions nonprofit organization, using EQ/SEL education for children to instill confidence. empathy, and the emotional resilience to navigate their lives, to avoid the pitfalls of depression, anxiety and addiction. During the show, viewers can participate in the fundraiser by donating directly to Charity Bomb.

The Holiday Special features performances and appearances by rock icon guitarist Nikki Stringfield (The Iron Maidens/Heaven Below), Toronto native gritty blues rock artist SATE, storytelling singer/songwriter Grace Gaustad, vocalist/guitarist Jen Razavi (The Bombpops) pop/electric artist Gabriella Stella, and the soul chanteuse Shea Diamond.

Hosted by the Gritty ringleader Shiragirl with house bandmates Rainey P, Alex Nicole Windsor, and special guest Ariel Bellvalaire. At the top of the month, Gritty In Pink announced Nikki Stringfield as their Bandmate of the Month, who will be making an appearance on the Holiday special. In the December issue, The Iron Maidens and Heaven Below guitarist talks about making the transition from being in a band to a solo artist, “I’ve actually learned so much from Heaven Below that I carry over to my solo project…  everything from creating merch, recording, writing. Since everything in the music industry is constantly evolving I feel like you’re always learning something new.”

Gritty In Pink has had an amazing year, hosting 16 virtual live events, raising thousands of dollars for charities such as Sweet Relief, Keep A Breast, The LA LGBTQ Center, excursioning around the states on their sophomore summer virtual tour and announcing the beta launch of their network marketplace INPINK. Gritty in Pink is a new platform to empower women in music through performance, partnerships, and networking opportunities. Charity Bomb is an unconventional, solutions-based 501c3 that aims to reverse the trends of mental illness and its symptoms, including anxiety, depression, and suicide, among our youth.
