Gretsch Presents Viral Benefit Concert For The Georgia Music Foundation May 26

Since 2015 Gretsch has held the fundraising concert “Gretsch Presents Georgia On My Mind” at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Through this wonderful benefit they have been able to give over $500,000 in grants to Georgia public & Private schools for their music programs, along with grants to Summer & After school Music programs.
But, due to the devastating effect that COVID-19 as had on concerts and live performances, this fundraiser is going virtual instead.

The benefit concert will be streamed live Tuesday, May 26 at 8:00pm ET/7:00pm CT on the Georgia Music Foundation Facebook page and on the georgiamusic.org website. 

Hosting this year are singer/songwriter Brent Cobb and Amy Ray of the The Indigo Girls with an all star line up including The Indigo Girls, Brandi Carlile, Amy Grant, Katie Pruitt, Caylee Hammack, Kevn Kinney, Caroline Aiken, Rutha Harris, John Barry, Kim Michael Polote, and more. 

The Gretsch Company have been major supporters of this event for the past three years, with co-founder Dinah Gretsch proudly serving on the board of the Georgia Music Foundation for over 25 years. Visit the georgiamusic.org website for more information.
