Looking for some new tunes to bring you out of your music slump? You’re just in luck, because London-based nightlife website Kleek put together a list of four mega-skilled female DJ’s you need to look into.
Gracing the list is London-born Maya Jane Coles, New Yorker Louisahh!!!, Madga of Detroit, and Dinky hailing from Chile.
Each has their own distinct sound, and make a fierce name for all of the badass female DJ’s out there. Maya Jane Coles has earned in a spot in the clubbing and festival circuit, and takes from the genres of soul and jazz, and infuses them with house and R&B beats. Louisahh!!! has a signature of techno beats mixed with low bass and her own raspy vocals, which makes for a unique twist. Magda hails from the creative environment of the underground techno scene in Detroit, and her tracks feature minimalist and creative sounds. Dinky has a major influence in the European clubbing scene, and was part of Chile’s second wave electronic music in the 90’s with ambient sounds and electro pop shining through her productions.
