Iconic artists Cherie Currie (The Runaways) and Brie Darling (Fanny/Fanny Walked The Earth) teamed up last year to record a cover of Chris Cornell’s famous song “Black Hole Sun” in honor of the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation. The foundation’s mission is to help children who are facing homelessness, poverty, abuse, and neglect worldwide. 100% of the proceeds directly benefit the foundation.
From Currie and Darling: “Chris’ artistry showed in everything he touched. He loved people more than he loved himself, and there will never be another Chris Cornell. To bring our different sounds and styles together on this haunting melody was such a moving experience to record.”
