Acoustic Guitar magazine’s October issue features folksinger Ani DiFranco on the cover.

In her interview the songwriting veteran chats about the recent controversy she inadvertently became part of when she chose a former slave plantation as the location for a songwriting retreat she was organizing near New Orleans, and how she coped with it.

She also talks about her new release Allergic to Water, and her memorable visit to female-owned music store The Music Shop in Grant’s Pass, Oregon.
