LA-based singer/songwriter Alexx Mack has shared her new song, “Your Car,” premiering on Nylon. The track is a collaboration with fellow dream pop Californians, EXES. Alexx explains, “I was craving honesty, When I’m not writing honestly, I feel like I’m not in my own skin. Mostly everything that I’m about to release started with me sitting at my piano or in my living room with my guitar, getting lost in my own mind [and] healing the little parts of myself that needed it.”
This is Alexx’s first release since her 2016 single, “Whatever I want,” which has been featured on hit TV shows “Pretty Little Liars” and “Vice Principals.” Nylon describes “Your Car” as “lushly minimal, tender, and brimming with longing.”
