We need one more state for the Equal Rights Amendment to be ratified. One more state.
Kamala Lopez & Joel Marshall of Equal Means Equal are performing Harold Pinter’s “The Lover” in Los Angeles August 23rd, 24th, 30th, 31st and September 1st, to raise money to go get that last state ratified!
If you don’t live in Los Angeles and can’t come to any of the performances, there are a lot of students and others, who would love to come, but can’t afford to.

We need about thirty-five thousand dollars to duplicate our efforts in Illinois in another state. We’d like to raise enough money to be able to mobilize in two states at once, come January. That means that we need to start actively fundraising in order to have the resources to do the job properly and fulfill the mission of Equal Means Equal – full ERA ratification now. The next state will be the thirty eighth – of the thirty-eight we need. The next state will make herstory.
