The WiMN presents the She Rocks Showcase in the Round!

The showcase will consist of three select female writers who will perform their music in the round. This event takes place during NAMM’s Music Industry Day – the only day of the Summer NAMM show open to the public – so all are welcome to come enjoy this 45 minute performance and hear some of the industry’s best writers! SIDNEY BOWEN
Sidney Bowen is a 15-year-old singer/songwriter who is currently on the nationwide Bully Proof tour opening for After Romeo. Sidney’s music reflects her life experiences, challenges and triumphs. She has graced over 60 stages last year alone and will surpass that number this year. RORIE KELLY
People hearing Rorie Kelly for the first time often comment, “I can’t believe that voice came out of that body.” The singer/songwriter’s catchy, melodic style has been compared to artists ranging from Sarah Bareilles to Joni Mitchell to Janis Joplin. Rorie’s debut release, Wish Upon a Bottlecap, received airplay across the nation. MICHELLE LEE OGLEVIE – MLO
Michelle Lee Oglevie, or “MLO,” is an 18-year-old singer, songwriter, and performing artist from Newport Beach, California. Her second EP, The Race, which showcases her authentic beliefs and core values, received the Los Angeles Music Critics’ Choice Award for Best Female EP of 2013. When not writing or performing, MLO is busy studying Ethnomusicology and Music Industry at UCLA. More information is available at mlomusic.com.
