Vanessa Silberman has just released the video for her latest single, “I Got A Reason”, the first track from her upcoming EP due out this Fall. The single was produced and engineered by Silberman and Mikel Ross at both Lucky Recording Company in San Francisco, and at A Diamond Heart Production in Los Angeles. The video is directed by Fuel Heart Productions.

“‘I Got A Reason’ is about believing in yourself. It’s about believing in your cause,” says Vanessa Silberman. “I wrote this song about going through life experiences, truly living, growing and struggling as well as needing so badly to believe in myself. I’m so grateful I have lived through so much life that it has given me so much reason to believe in myself, encourage others, tour and connect with people, fans and other artists with a message of hope and positivity.”

Silberman was named as one of the “hardest working bands of 2017 and 2018” by Audio Femme, boasting over 200 performances in 2017 alone. And for good reason, as her live shows and music have been compared to the raw, bare bones rock of Nirvana and The Ramones, along with the appeal of Liz Phair and Chrissie Hynde, authenticity of classic artists such as Patti Smith and Neil Young, and the pop sensibilities of commercial radio artists such as Green Day. She has performed at Vans Warped Tour 2018, Girls Rock in LA and Santa Barbara, Lobster Fest, Star City Music Festival, Keep A Breast, NAMM and Today at Apple.
