I had the wonderful opportunity of seeing The Gold Souls perform at the Concert in the Park series this past summer in Sacramento, CA. Their set was pure fire, funk, and bluesy as they worked the crowd with their entrancing dance grooves. Leading the band with her rich, soulful vocals is Juniper Waller – the ultimate front woman. She is joined by bandmates Matt Hevesh (Guitar), Alex Severson (Keys), Jace Dorn (Bass), and Billy D. Thompson (Drums).

The Gold Souls are from Sacramento, California who formed in 2017. They released their first self-titled EP in May 2017, promoting the self-produced album in various venues throughout Northern California. Their 2nd release, the full length album Good To Feel premiered June 22, 2018 and contains eleven brand new songs, including “Sweet Release”, featuring fellow Sacramento artist The Philharmonik. The first track on the album, “Silver Tongue” is also their first video which was shot entirely in their hometown.

The Gold Souls are taking Northern California by storm and if you are in the area, I highly encourage you to catch a live show!
