The ever dynamic rock duo Deer Park Avenue has just announced their new contract with record label Muve Recordings. Founded in 1935, Muve are known for their work with both established and up-and-coming artists such as Sina, Crimer, Pull n Way, and many others.

I have known this sister group for many years and am continually in awe of their ever-growing career. From humble beginnings in Northern California, their music now reaches across the globe with a hard work ethic and genuinity that comes in part to the tremendous support they receive from their parents. You can read an earlier interview here: Front And Center: Deer Park Avenue.

Deer Park Avenue first gained attention when they won the Hard Rock Cafe battle of the bands in Washington, D.C., an accolade followed by their debut self-titled release. They have since toured both coasts of the US as well as through Europe and are currently based between Switzerland, Germany, and California. The duo was founded by sisters Sarah Snyder and Stephanie Snyder, who are also voting members of the Recording Academy (GRAMMYs@).

“We are thrilled to be with Muve!” said Sarah (guitar, vox). “They are absolutely the right team for us and we’re excited for what is ahead. This is the first time a label has felt right for us.”

The band have also hinted at new music coming soon. “This is what we love most,” said Stephanie (drums, vox), “being creative and getting to share that with the world. We’ve been working on some new stuff, and we’re excited about the direction it’s going in, so we’re looking forward to sharing it with everyone soon.”
