Pop soul artist Rachel Lynn dives head first into 2019 with her first single, “Didn’t I”, a song of beautiful desperation, tied to the trauma caused by a loved one. The lyrics are powerful, yet tragic and may hit home with those who can relate to being in a relationship with someone who is manipulative and controlling:

I tried to do you right / I stayed up through the night / ’cause I know you like it rough

“‘Didn’t I’ is my hopeless, angry, heart-wrenching anthem. I wanted to write something I could really wail on, really lose myself in on stage, and that’s how ‘Didn’t I’ came about. I without a doubt lose myself in this one.” says Lynn. And lose herself, she does as you can hear for yourself with the exclusive premiere right here!

Rachel Lynn has been touching hearts successfully for a few years now.  A New York City-based chanteuse and classically trained vocalist, Lynn’s original soulful pop music is entwined with her signature evocative lyrics. She has performed up and down the East Coast, and has performed at legendary NYC venues including Webster Hall and Mercury Lounge. Her previous work has been heralded by tastemakers such as The Huffington Post, PopMatters, and Baeble Music. She was named one of New Music Seminar’s Top 100 Artists on the Verge and was selected to officially showcase at CMJ 2014, CMJ 2015, and NACA Mid-Atlantic 2015. She has since opened for acts such as AJR (Warner Bros.), played several shows during SXSW 2017, and signed multiple sync licenses (Discovery, E!, Bravo, Netflix, TLC, Oxygen).
