In this episode of our podcast series, LIVE: Front & Center, Myki Angeline talks with Joann Pierdomenico. She is the Executive Director of Keep Music Alive which she co-founded with her husband, Vincent James in the summer of 2014. The non-profit organization hosts a variety of events that educate and encourage young people to discover musical instruments.

Every year Keep Music Alive host Teach Music Week in March, and Kid’s Music Day in October along with a musical instruments petting zoo that has been hosted in several locations like the Legoland Discovery Center (Plymouth Meeting/PA), the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in (Cleveland/OH), and Summer Fun Jam in (Havertown/PA). Their most recent Kid’s Music Day included actor/performer Matthew Morrison (Glee) as the Official Spokesperson and several big names as Music Ambassadors; Julie Andrews, Jack Black, Ann & Nancy Wilson of Heart, Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo, Michael Feinstein, Kenny Loggins, Richie Sambora, Sarah McLachlan, and many others.
