meghan-trainor-no-coverMeghan Trainor released her highly anticipated new single, “NO,” on Friday, March 4. The bonafide hit-track features sounds inspired from late 90s and early 00s pop anthems, with listeners thinking they’re transported back to the days of old-school Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, and TLC.

Trainor told fans that her song was fueled by a meeting with L.A. Reid. Reid denounced the new album she presented to him by saying that it was exactly what the world expected her to release, and to scrap it and go back to the studio.
