According to a press release posted on Mi2N.com, Jennifer Drake has joined Sony/ATV Music Publishing as Senior Director, A&R, based in Los Angeles.
She was previously at Universal Music Publishing Group where she worked for the past two years in the role of Creative Director. She will report into Rick Krim, Sony/ATV Co-President, U.S.
Before she joined UMPG at the beginning of 2014 she spent three years at ASCAP, initially as Director of Membership in its Rhythm and Soul Department in New York and then in Atlanta overseeing the society’s office there. While at the PRO her signings included Kendrick Lamar, Mike WiLL Made-It, Cris Cab and DJ Drama.
She started her industry career as an A&R Coordinator at Warner Bros Records, while also worked as an A&R Administrator at independent Versatile Records.
