Seventeen-year-old R&B artist IV Jay has released a music video for her song, “Care,” which was directed by Rock Davis and premiered on Galore. The feature also came with an interview, where it was explained that the song is a warning to future relationships that she enjoys the fun aspects of it and may break their heart.

“’Care’ is about the playful side of dating and just having fun with it all,” says the young artist, “Writing this song really made me open up about not being ‘perfect’ in relationships. It made me realize that sometimes I might play with guys’ minds a little too much for fun, but at the end of the day I do really care about the relationships I have.”

IV Jay put out her debut EP, IV in October 2018 via Atlantic Records. She gained a large following after posting covers and original songs on her social media and has since then become an icon for the younger generation. IV Jay is working on new music to be released in 2019 and you can find out more information here.
