Hit Like A Girl, a drumming contest for female drummers, launched a new website to prepare for the 2014 edition of the competition, and recently announced that world renowned percussionist and 2014 She Rocks Awards winner Sheila E will join its panel of judges.
The competition opens from January 24 and runs until February 28, during which four weekly winners will be chosen. Ten additional finalists will be chosen by public vote before the winner is announced in a Drum Channel event on April 10.
Additional information on prizes, sponsors, judges and other activities will be announced at the Guitar Center Drum-Off Finals in Los Angeles on January 18, 2014, during a special event at the Zildjian booth at the NAMM Show on January 24, 2014 and at HitLikeAGirlContest.com when the contest goes live at 12:01 AM, January 24, 2014.
