Join the Society of Composers and Lyricists (SCL) and the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) on Tue., May 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the ASCAP headquarters in New York City to discuss the craft of scoring for documentaries and the essential collaboration process between composer and filmmaker.
Featuring composers include Wendy Blackstone (Paradise Lost 3, HBO’s Alive Day: Home From Iraq, Alzheimer’s Project), and Chris Hajian (First Position, Unraveled, Nursery University).
Event is free for SCL and ASCAP members, $15 for non-members, and $10 for students.
