BUST, the pioneering alternative bimonthly magazine for “Women With Something to Get Off Their Chests,” is celebrating two decades in print with an extravaganza for the ages at Brooklyn’s Bell House.
Comedienne Julie Klausner will play host, and performances by Cibo Matto, Har Mar Superstar and Awkwafina and appearances from Murray Hill, Jessi Klein, Broad City, Vanessa Bayer and Amber Tamblyn will set the stage for the inaugural “Golden Bra Awards.” JD Samson (of Le Tigre and Men) will be DJing for the night, and DJ Jonathan Toubin will take over for a late-night dance party.
Gowanus, Brooklyn’s Bell House (149 7th St.) is the place to be on Thursday, July 25th from 7:30 p.m. through (at least) 1:30 a.m., and just for showing up you’ll get a birthday cupcake and a free one-year subscription to BUST.
