U.K.-based experimental rock band Esper Scout is prepping for the release of their new single “Assumpta Tang” off their upcoming debut album Poet Curses.
The track is set to drop Aug. 19 via the band’s label Bomb The Twist, and the album is expected for release in autumn of 2013.
Esper Scout are driven by an enthusiasm for melody, harmony, textures and pedal effects as well as dynamic rhythms. Although they have been writing together in various bands and gigging around the U.K. over the last 3 years, Sarah Statham (guitar/vocals), Kirsty Morton (guitar/keys), Rebecca Jane (bass), and Lou Brinn (drum/vocals) have found a fitting dynamic under the guise of Esper Scout, with steady singles and EP releases since 2011.
