Norwegian artist and producer Emma Jensen has shared her new single, “Rush.” The track, which premiered on Paper Magazine, was co-produced with the artists’ cousin and fellow Norwegian Henrik the Artist. “Rush” is a follow up to Jensen’s breakthrough 2017 hit, “Closer,” which has 8 million streams on Spotify.

Jensen explained to Paper Magazine, “‘Rush’ is definitely different from my previous singles. It’s still very me, but more pop, maybe? I think it’s just new inspiration from both listening to a variety of music and working with a lot of talented, cool people. I’ve for sure stepped out of my comfort zone and found confidence in the last year or two. I don’t think too much about what kind of music I’m making when I’m in the studio. It could be a really cool synth, big 80’s drums, a nice melody or just a weird sound. I just wanna do what feels good.”

Paper Magazine praised the artist, “Emma Jensen will get you hooked on the rush of pristine pop”, and PIGEONS & PLANES stated, “Emma Jensen just popped up on our radar recently but has a sound we will be sure to keep our eyes on. The Norwegian artist records and produces her own music and it sounds incredible.”
