Cyndi Lauper has announced the 9th annual Cyndi Lauper & Friends: Home for the Holidays benefit concert being held on Tuesday, December 10 in support of True Colors United‘s work to develop solutions to youth homelessness that focus on the unique experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people. For the first time, the concert will be held in Los Angeles at The NOVO at L.A. Live.

This year’s line up is an impressive, diverse bill of extraordinary inclusivity which includes Belinda Carlisle, Billy Porter, Brandi Carlile, Carol Leifer, Charlie Musselwhite, Emily Estefan, Gina Yashere, Henry Rollins, Justin Tranter, K. Flay, Kesha, King Princess, Lily Tomlin, Margaret Cho, Marilyn Manson, Perry & Etty Lau Farrell, and Shawn Wasabi, with Carson Kressley hosting.

For the past eight years, this concert has played to sold out audiences of over 2,800 each year and welcomed performers like P!NK, Lou Reed, Jackson Browne, Billy Corgan, 50 Cent, Natalie Merchant, St. Vincent, Jason Mraz, Wanda Sykes, Susan Sarandon, Aloe Blacc, Boy George, Sarah McLachlan, Salt-N-Pepa, A$AP Rocky, and many more. Home for the Holidays has quickly become the signature event for Cyndi’s True Colors United and provides a significant source of funding towards fulfilling the organization’s mission.

Co-founded by Cyndi Lauper, True Colors United works nationally to end homelessness, focusing especially on LGBTQ youth – who represent 40% of all youth experiencing homelessness. Through a broad continuum of advocacy, training & education, and youth collaboration programs, True Colors United is creating a world in which young people can be their true selves. 100 percent of the net proceeds from the concert supports True Colors United programs.
