Suzan Koc

The mission of the Women’s International Music Network™ is to advocate for women in the music and audio industries, spearheading conversations and creating new programs and opportunities. One of the ways we do this is by holding charity auctions; we collaborate with influential professionals who donate their skills, time and effort. One of the many bids we have active through Chairtybuzz is for a 1-hour virtual one on one song critiquing session and a 30-minute follow up session with Suzan Koç! She a music publisher and songwriting coach that has developed and mentored successful songwriters for over 30 years.

Make your bid here. You have until July 9 to do so!

Suzan Koc has held positions at Warner Chappell in Paris, where she signed Swedish pop group Ace of Base (50 million records sold), then as VP of Creative for Hit & Run Music (Phil Collins, Genesis) where she worked very closely with songwriter Shelly Peiken, and as VP of Writer Development and Creative at BMG Music Publishing and BMG Rights Management. Since 2008 she has been mentoring songwriters, notable alumni include MILCK (whose song “Quiet” was the anthem of the 2017 Women’s March and garnered 15 million views in 48 hours). She currently teaches Music Publishing at Musicians Institute and UCLA Extension.
