Beyoncé’s foray into country with Cowboy Carter has earned her the distinction of being the most GRAMMY Nominated artist ever as the 2025 GRAMMY Nominations are announced.
Cowboy Carter also marks her first time being nominated in the Country music category.
Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter and its breakout hit “Texas Hold ‘Em” were instant sensations upon their release; now, Recording Academy voting members have made her the most-Nominated artist of the 2025 Awards in addition to being the most-Nominated artist, ever – she has 99 Nominations in total.
Women also dominated the 2025 Nominations, with pop breakouts Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Charli XCX alongside GRAMMY regular Billie Eilish; Americana/Bluegrass songbird Sierra Ferrel now has her first nominations for her album Trail of Flowers, and Aoife O’Donovan’s gorgeous album All My Friends was also recognized, with Rhiannon Giddens also nominated for “The Ballad of Sally Anne”, among many, many more.
