Women accomplish amazing things every day all around the world, but not all of them make headlines.
Luckily, BuzzFeed compiled a list of 18 women who kicked butt in 2014, but you most likely didn’t hear about.
Our favorite was A Boy Named Sue (real name Charlotte Clarke), the first-ever woman to be crowned air guitar champion in Air Guitar UK’s competition.
About her award, Clarke said, “It feels absolutely amazing to win because ever since I started I’ve wanted to be the first female champion.”
