Skating Polly, comprised of stepsisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse have released the second video from their soon to be released EP New Trick.  The band, who describe their music as ‘ugly pop’ premiered “Louder Than Space” on Uproxx April 18.

Although obviously influenced by 90’s grunge female-fronted bands like The Breeders, L7, and Veruca Salt, Skating Polly house a distinct sound of their own. Their next release, a three song EP includes Veruca Salt members Nina Gordon and Louise Post, who lent their powerful harmonies and grungy influence on New Trick, due out April 28th.

You can pre-order the album here.

Mayo and Bighorse have been playing together for nearly a decade, starting when Mayo was nine and Bighorse was fourteen. Originating from Tacoma, Washington the trio (joined by brother Kurtis Mayo) kicked off their U.S. tour in April.
