Colombian singer Shakira has set an all new record on Facebook, becoming the most-liked celebrity of all time on the popular social media website.
In a statement posted on her Facebook page, Shakira said she was “honoured and humbled” to have reached this many likes, and also posted a video thanking her fans in both English and Spanish.
With more than 100 million likes, Shakira stands ahead of Eminem and Rihanna, who have have 91.9 million and 89 million fans respectively.
