American country music singer Martina McBride and husband John McBride found a way to merge their musical talents and give back to the community by opening their own music school, Blackbird Academy.
The academy will be based out of the couple’s recording studio Blackbird Recording Studio in Nashville, Tenn., and will offer hands-on music education and industry involvement to aspiring musicians.
“Opening a school has been a dream of mine for a long time,” said John McBride via GACTV.
Blackbird Recording Studio has helped artists like Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Bruce Springsteen and Lionel Richie record multi-Platinum selling albums.
