Singer-songwriter Lisa Donahey has shared the music video for her single, “It’s Gonna Be a Hot, Hot Christmas” off her third album, Christmas in Our Soul, which is out now everywhere digitally and physically. The track was co-written by Academy and Grammy nominee Allan Rich, who has written for other celebrated artists such as Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Dolly Parton, more.
Donahey explained why she wrote an album dedicated to Christmas, “The holidays are my favorite time of year and I wanted to create an album that had some fresh takes on songs we all know. I also wanted to sing some never-before-heard songs that I’m hoping people will love and that will become new classics.”
To support the new record, Donahey will be performing at Studio City’s Vitello’s Restaurant on December 8 and 9. Tickets are $35 which includes a copy of Christmas in Our Soul. For more information, check out Donahey’s official website.
