Canadian singer-songwriter and illustrator Lights is keeping up her trend with recording acoustic renditions corresponding with her albums, this time with her full-length record, Skin&Earth. Her latest release is “Skydiving (Cliff Recording)” a stripped-down version of one of her singles that will be on the upcoming album, Skin&Earth Acoustic.

In a video, Lights explains that she chose to record on a cliff because that’s where the song takes place in the comic series, which follows the album. She also included all of the background noises and used an electric guitar to add an ambient sound.

Previously, LIGHTS released the first single, “Lost Girls,” which will be one of three new tracks on Skin&Earth Acoustic, which will be released July 12 on Fueled by Ramen. Lights
will also be embarking on a headlining North American tour in support of the new album. Full tour dates are posted below and you can find out for information here.
