Nashville biographer Jake Brown’s book “NASHVILLE SONGWRITER II: The Inside Stories Behind Country Music’s Greatest Hits” is now available for purchase on shelves and digitally as of October 15. The book highlights a number of female celebrated singer-songwriters who have helped shape country music including Hillary Lindsey (“Jesus Take The Wheel,” “A Little Bit Stronger”), Lori McKenna (“Humble and Kind,” “People Get Old,”) and Liz Rose (“Tim McGraw,” “Teardrops On My Guitar.”)

The highly anticipated book is Brown’s 45th published text and tells the details of what went into making some of the top Country hits today from artists such as Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, and Kacey Musgraves.

Exclusive videos were released in collaboration with the book, including AXS and American Songwriter with Lori McKenna explaining the process of writing her Grammy award-winning songs “Humble and Kind” and “Girl Crush” and Guitar Girl Magazine premiered Josh Osborne and Shane McAnally discussing Kasey “Musgrave’s Merry Go ‘Round.'”
