Singer-songwriter Heather Morgan released her debut single, “Your Hurricane,” which came as a result of a heartbreak. Morgan has written songs for iconic country names such as  Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley and Brett Eldredge, but this time is stepping out from the shadows with her own work. TIME Magazine has praised Morgan with, “Her lyrics are poetry brought to life,” which is certainly true in “Your Hurricane.”

“Your Hurricane” was written in the middle of California’s national park Joshua Tree with a guitar borrowed from Jason Mraz. The track will be on Morgan’s upcoming album, Borrowed Heart, in collaboration with Lori McKenna and Ross Copperman for songwriting and vocals.
