Georgia Anne Muldrow has shared her new single, “Aerosol,” which will be on her upcoming album, Overload, set to be released on October 26 via Brainfeeder, an independent label founded by Flying Lotus. With over a decade in her career as a musician and a producer, Muldrow has been praised as “one of the most daring and important artists of her time” by AllMusic. She is also known for her songs displaying themes of love, self-actualization, and politics.
Of the new record, Muldrow explains that “Music is my discipline. It’s my way of meditating, it’s my way of thanking God, it’s my way of communicating… It’s my way of life.” While she usually works alone, Overload is a collaborative effort with a number of producers including Mike & Keys (50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, G-Eazy). The title track, “Overload” made Pitchfork‘s Best New Tracklist.
