On Sunday, March 8, all-female ensemble Nu Civilisation Orchestra, composed by British-Bahrani composer and trumpeter Yazz Ahmed will be performing.
Ahmed’s Arabic heritage reverberates throughout her music, which according to The Guardian is “all so fresh and inventive that it’s its own style.”
