Musician Emilyn Brodsky recently sat with WiMN founder and Acoustic Nation Editor Laura B. Whitmore to discuss new music and emotions.

A self-proclaimed lover of food and feelings, Brodsky discloses to Whitmore why she titled her latest release Emilyn Brodsky Eats Her Feelings, explains why she is sitting with vegetables in a giant stockpot on her album cover, and why emotions are delicious. She admits that this album is a view into her own life, and is feeding into the obsession that humanity has with looking into others’ personal lives.

Recorded in her parents’ house, Brodsky’s newest work delves into her personal life featuring real voicemails intertwined between songs, and infectious instrumentation paired with quirky lyrics.
